E ancora Mamiyapan

Nel 2015 ho iniziato letteralmente a giocare con il formato panoramico ricavato partendo dal medio formato 4:3 della Mamiya, per l’occasione ribattezzata Mamiyapan.
La mancanza di soldi da spendere su una Hasselblad X-Pan o su una Fuji TX-QUALCOSA mi aveva fatto ripiegare sulla possibilità di parzializzare un negativo medioformato.
Non parliamo quindi di panoramico nativo ma di un panoramico “di taglio”, previsto durante l’inquadratura e ottenuto in fase di stampa.
Ho scattato queste foto un paio di anni più tardi, nel 2017, su Ilford HP5+.

In 2015 I started experimenting with the panoramic format you can obtain working on a Mamiya’s 4/3rds negative, I called this Mamiyapan.
The lack of money that divided me from an Hasselblad X-Pan or a Fuji TX-SOMETHING led me to a different and obvious way to obtain panoramic photographs: the crop.
It’s not a native format, but with a wide angle lens and some marks on the viewfinder you can easily reach the goal.
I took these photographs two years later, in 2017, on Ilford HP5+.

La mancanza di fantasia per un titolo originale

Tante foto a tema neve, come sempre in questo periodo dell’anno. Mi manca però un titolo che non contenga le parole “neve” e “bianco” che ormai ho usato in tutti i modi.

A bunch of photos with snow, as always in this time of the year. I already used every combination I could imagine with the words “snow – neve” and “white – bianca”, so I’m out of decent titles.

Ho realizzato questi scatti verso la fine di dicembre, tra sviluppo e scansione siamo finiti a marzo e la neve lì non c’è più.

I took these photos in the late days of december, then I developed the two rolls and scanned them. Here we are in march and the snow is gone.

La mia foto preferita in questa serie è la seconda dall’alto. Giusto per dire.

This time I used the Mamiya 645J with the Ilford HP5+, self developed at home. My favourite photo in this serie is the second from the top. Just to let you know.
