Fuori tema 3 -Transfer

Pochi giorni fa è uscito in Giappone prodotto dalla Murmur records l’album Transfer di Øe, progetto che rimanda direttamente al sound artist Fabio Perletta. Si tratta di un concept-album che ha come perno il rapporto tra la  sfera emozionale umana e gli stimoli digitali che oramai la circondano e determinano.

Few days ago Murmur records released in Japan the album Transfer from Øe, a project of the sound artist Fabio Perletta. This is a concetp-album that focuses on the relationship between the human emotional sphere and the digital inputs that nowadays surround us and interact with it.

This page is about this project…and reading this I think that you’ll understand easily what the project is about.
Last year I realized a video for the first track of Transfer (february / seek)  and this has been included in the enhanced cd for sale here.

Il video dura 11 minuti ed è stato girato interamente con lenti macro. Ho cercato in questo modo di amplificare la concretezza dei materiali filtrandola con il mezzo digitale. Gli errori e le distorsioni del video non sono altro che il rimando diretto al concept dell’album.

This 11 minutes length video and has been shooted entirely with macro lenses. I tried to enhance the materials and I did this filtering our reality with a digital item. The distorsions and the video glitches represents the link to the main concept of Transfer. 

Questa sequenza che vedete è una selezione di fotogrammi estratti dal video.
Cromaticamente ho scelto tonalità calde ma estremamente desature che diventano quasi monocromatiche.

Fuori tema 2 – Fausto Delle Chiaie

Sto scrivendo un paio di articoli da pubblicare, e nel frattempo volevo condividere con voi questo video fresco fresco!

Actually I’m writing a couple of posts but now I’d like to share with you this brand new video!

In questo periodo sto lavorando ad un documentario su Fausto Delle Chiaie, un personaggio contemporaneo romano a dir poco sopra le righe: artista, performer, curatore e custode del suo Open Air Museum (letteralmente “museo all’aria aperta”), Fausto da svariati  anni espone i suoi lavori a Roma di fronte l’Ara Pacis. Il suo spazio espositivo è un muretto affiancato al marciapiede.

Paradossalmente non ho molti scatti che lo riguardano, questi sono due  lavori “ciao tesoro mio” e “avanzo di galera” (so di non rendergli giustizia attraverso queste due foto).

In these weeks I’m working on a documentary on Fausto Delle Chiaie, a personality over the top here in Rome. He’s the artist, the performer, the curator and the attendant at the “Open Air Museum”.  From several years Fausto shows his artworks in front of the Ara Pacis in Rome, his exhibition area is the street.

Unfortunately I have few photos of his works, these below are “bye my treasure” and “remains of convicts”.

Se passate da Roma andate all’Ara Pacis, fuori dalle 17.30 fino alle 20 circa troverete l’Open Air Museum, tutti i giorni tutti i mesi, fate un’offerta al museo e non dimenticate il biglietto!
Non aggiungo altro, se non un fotogramma con il maestro tratto dal documentario che sto montando.

If you came to Rome I suggest you to go to the Ara Pacis, outside from 17.30 to 20 (more or less) you can visit the Open Air Museum…free entry (if you want you can give an offer to the museum) but don’t forget the ticket!
There’s nothing more to say, this is a frame with “il maestro” from the upcoming documentary.
